HERON Hosts Workshop with CAMART2 to Share Best Practices in CoEs
On February 11, 2026, HERON – Hellenic Robotics Center of Excellence, hosted a workshop with CAMART2, represented by Project Manager Andris Ozolins. CAMART2 is a leading Center of Excellence in advanced materials from Latvia.
The meeting was attended by HERON researchers together with members of its leadership, who engaged in a constructive exchange on strategies, organizational models, and practical approaches to developing and sustaining a Center of Excellence. Particular emphasis was also placed on strengthening research and innovation activities and fostering collaboration with industry.
This collaboration highlights HERON’s commitment to learning from established CoEs like CAMART2, strengthening international partnerships, and promoting research excellence and sustainability from its early stages.
