The first Hellenic Robotics Forum (HRF 2026) will bring together the Greek and international robotics community, promoting the exchange of advanced research results in Robotics in the Artificial Intelligence era.

    Organized by HERON – Hellenic Center of Excellence in Robotics, the Forum aspires to be a key meeting point for researchers from academia in Greece and abroad, as well as for leading companies in Robotics, encouraging knowledge exchange and collaboration, and mobilizing the Greek Robotics Ecosystem.

    The Forum will feature:

    • Keynote talks by leading experts
    • Paper spotlights and poster presentations
    • Thematic panel discussions
    • Live demonstrations and exhibition showcases

    Technical Scope: The Forum invites contributions across a broad range of Robotics research areas, including but not limited to:

    • Field and Space Robotics
    • Healthcare and Social Robotics
    • Human-Robot Interaction
    • Machine Learning and AI for Robotics
    • Marine and Maritime Robotics
    • Multimodal Robot Perception
    • Safety and Security Robotics

    Call for Papers

    Authors are invited to submit electronically in English up to 2-page summaries of papers that have already been published or accepted for publication in conferences, and journals. Papers will be selected based on novelty, quality, and relevance and will be presented as spotlights or posters.

    HRF’s Proceedings: The posters of all accepted papers will be compiled in the form of Proceedings and will become available to all attendees of the Forum.

    Awards will be announced and presented to the student authors of the three best student papers during the HRF closing session.

    From Athens International Airport

    • X96 Express Bus (Airport – Piraeus):
      The journey typically takes approximately 60–75 minutes, depending on traffic. The bus stop near the Eugenides Foundation is within short walking distance of the venue.
    • Taxi / Ride-hailing services:
      Taxis are available 24/7 at the airport. Travel time is usually 40–50 minutes, subject to traffic conditions.

    By Public Transport (from the city downtown)

    • Metro:
      Visitors can use Metro Line 2 (Red Line) and connect to nearby bus or trolley lines serving the Eugenides Foundation area.
    • Bus & Trolleybus:
      Multiple bus and trolleybus lines stop close to the venue, providing convenient connections from central Athens and surrounding districts.
